How to remove yourself from MyLife
Last checked October 14, 2026
MyLife publishes names, addresses, phone numbers and relatives to anyone who searches. You can ask it to take your listing down. Here's exactly how, as of October 14, 2026.
- You'll need
- First and last name, City and ZIP code, Email address (verified on the form), Birth year
- How long
- MyLife only says requests are processed within the legally required time frames.
- Can it come back?
- Possible. Removal guides suggest checking again after about six months.
Step by step
- Open the Deletion and Opt Out of Sale form (linked as Do Not Sell My Personal Information in the footer of mylife.com).
- Fill in your name, city, ZIP code and birth year. Middle initial and maiden or alias names are optional but help MyLife find the right profile.
- Verify your email address on the form and submit.
- Wait for the confirmation email when the deletion is done.
Good to know
- MyLife lists the states whose residents have a legal right to deletion, and says it accepts requests from other states at its discretion.
- If the request stalls, MyLife points to membersupport@mylife.com.
- Searches on Reunion.com redirect to MyLife, according to removal guides, so one removal should cover both.
Then get it out of Google too
Opting out removes the listing from MyLife, but Google can keep showing an old copy for a while. Google's Results about you tool lets you ask for those results to be dropped, and it can tell you when new ones appear.
How we checked this
We read the steps on MyLife's own opt-out page on October 14, 2026. Anything we couldn't see there is marked as coming from other guides.
