Last checked October 14, 2026

CyberBackgroundChecks publishes names, addresses, phone numbers and relatives to anyone who searches. You can ask it to take your listing down. Here's exactly how, as of October 14, 2026.

You'll need
Name, Email address
How long
Not published, and guide estimates disagree (from a few days to a month).
Can it come back?
Possible.

Step by step

  1. Fill in the short form on the removal page (name, email, consent box, CAPTCHA).
  2. Open the email and follow the link to a second, longer suppression form.
  3. Guides note that the second form rejects special characters in name fields.

Good to know

Then get it out of Google too

Opting out removes the listing from CyberBackgroundChecks, but Google can keep showing an old copy for a while. Google's Results about you tool lets you ask for those results to be dropped, and it can tell you when new ones appear.

How we checked this

cyberbackgroundchecks.com blocks visitors from outside the US, so we couldn't read its opt-out page directly. The steps above are cross-checked against several removal guides updated in 2026, and we've left out details they disagree on. If the form looks different when you get there, follow what the page says.
